Serenity

Serenity…calm and peacefulness. Everyone wants it. Everyone searches for it.

Where is it?

It is in a walk with a friend. A quiet morning drinking coffee on a deck. It is sitting on a beach watching the waves. It is watching your children play. Serenity is anywhere and everywhere. Mostly because it is inside of you.

I had a wonderful taste of serenity on a Monday off from work. A friend and I spent time having lunch, watching the water, walking, relaxing, and laughing. Along the walk I found this beautiful setting – a bench, tree, and stream. I thought….serenity.

So find what makes you calm and peaceful. Find your serenity. Even if it’s only an occasional find. Enjoy the moments. I know I sure do.
